I helped with security for the 5k run in Davie at Nova University last week. It was the “iWin Fun Run” fund raiser for Special Olympics. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to actually compete in the run I did get to help at the beginning and the finish with crowd control. Some of the law enforcement officers (Broward Sheriff Office Deputies) actually ran side by side with Joe and Nick Jonas. This was an impressive feat since Joe is a regular runner. Nick wasn’t quite as fast but still did a good time and one of the deputies and a Hollywood Firefighter finished with him. All in all it was a great time meeting the law enforcement people and getting our picture taken with the Jonas brothers.
