Here is a great example why you should have your dogs tested if you expect them to protect you, your property or your family. I’ve had my German Shepherd tested to see if she would protect herself. It turned out she had no desire to protect herself. It was an eye opening experience for me since at the times I thought all German Shepherds were fearless and protective…. I was wrong, German Shepherds, like most dogs can be very unique and to group them all together is usually a mistake.
Later I found her niche, Therapy Dog activities. She LOVES people and loves to interact with people.
